6th Grade: Self-Portraits

Carmel 6th Graders created self-portraits in Realistic style by using shading techniques to create the illusion of form. The portraits' colorful backgrounds reflect the colorful personalities and backgrounds of the artists.

7th Grade: Self Portraits

Carmel 7th Graders created self portraits that expressed their personalities, some with a Halloween twist.

8th Grade: Art with a Message

Carmel's 8th Graders created works of art with a message, using symbolism to share a feeling, belief, or point of view.

6th Grade: Superhero Movie Posters

Carmel's 6th Graders invented their own superheroes and created superhero Movie Posters to exercise their knowledge of Art as Advertisement.
